Common Classical Feng Shui Cures to Activate Wealth Sectors

Posted by Imperial Harvest on 05 June 2020

Estimated Reading Time: 2 mins

The wealth sectors or wealth corners are areas in our homes or offices that govern our wealth and benefactor support. When these sectors are activated correctly, it massively improves wealth flow and maximises the amount of money and assets we retain and accumulate.

In this article, we will list the common Classical Feng Shui cures used by Classical Feng Shui masters to activate the wealth sectors.

We will also share the authentic Imperial Feng Shui solutions that were used to activate the wealth sectors in the palaces of the Qing dynasty.

1. Water Features / Fountain

water feature_6thjun_2

Water features or fountains are one of the most commonly known classical Feng Shui cures. It is based on the rationale that water represents wealth. Although water features/fountains are widely accessible and affordable, it is important to note that this modern invention is a misinterpretation of the true meaning of water star in the San Yuan Xuan Kong Flying Star.

Success leaves clues.

There is a reason why no water features or water fountains were found in Emperor's study room or Imperial Courts.

There is a reason why only Imperial Feng Shui treasures like Imperial White Inkstone, Qian Long Jadeite Mountains and Imperial Harvest-grade crystals were displayed in Imperial Courts and the Emperor's study room.

2. Amethyst Crystal Cave

The amethyst crystal cave is another readily available solution used in Classical Feng Shui to activate the wealth sectors. It is noteworthy that the Amethyst Crystal Cave is considered as the fire mountain structure in the study of Imperial Landforms.

Fire mountain structures are considered inauspicious and can cause lawsuits, destruction of wealth and even disharmony at home. The sharp edges in the amethyst cave create Sha Qi which causes disharmony & poor health.

The Qian Long Jadeite Mountain was created by Emperor Qian Long’s team of Imperial Feng Shui masters to overcome the challenges of building the Imperial palace near an auspicious landform.

The Qian Long jadeite mountains are modelled after the auspicious Metal, Wood and Earth elemental mountains. They are the only authentic way to activate the auspicious mountain star (山管人丁) which governs benefactor and mentor support.

3. Liu Li

Classical FS Cure-updated-liu-li copy (1)

Liu Li (琉璃) is a synthetic man-made artifically coloured glass ornament. It is widely used by Classical Feng Shui masters as a cheap alternative to replace the Imperial Harvest grade crystal.

Liu Li is used in Classical Feng Shui to activate the wealth sectors. The vibrant colours are created with industrial chemicals and these mass produced ornaments possess no earthly energies and zero Feng Shui benefits.

In the authentic practice of Imperial Feng Shui, only naturally occurring Imperial Harvest-grade crystals are used to activate the auspicious water star which governs wealth and prosperity (水管财)

Imperial Harvest-grade crystals are flawless grade crystals that are free of artificial colours.

Less than 1% of the world’s natural crystals are qualified to be of Imperial Harvest-grade.

The Imperial Harvest crystal collection is hand-crafted and hand-finished to perfection under Master David’s  supervision. Each Imperial Harvest grade undergoes the most stringent gemmological inspection and testing before it is issued an independent gemmological certificate by Singapore Gemmological Institute.

Common Classical Feng Shui Methods to Identify Wealth Sectors

Posted by Imperial Harvest on 03 June 2020

Estimated Reading Time: 3 mins

Wealth sectors are key areas in our houses that govern our wealth, health and benefactor support.

When they are activated correctly with the expert guidance of an Imperial Feng Shui master, it can empower occupants with optimal Qi which translates into abundance and prosperity in all aspects of their lives.

In this article, we will be exploring the common classical Feng Shui methods that are used to identify wealth sectors in our homes and explain why they are inherently flawed.

1.  45 Degree Corner

blog_141220_wealthsector_1

The first incorrect method is known as the “45 Degree Corner”. The wealth sector is identified by looking for the longest visible corner from the entrance of the house.

This wealth corner would literally be 45 degrees diagonally left from the entrance of the house.

This is a simple and generalised Classical Feng Shui method which does not require any extensive calculations or even the analysis of your home floor plan.

2. Classical 8 Mansions

The second incorrect method is the Classical 8 Mansions 玄空八宅, which advocates that there are only eight types of house energy charts.

This method conveniently ignores the application of landforms, the year of construction of the house, the move-in date and the individual destiny charts of the occupants.

It is a simplistic way out for many self-taught Classical Feng Shui masters without the proper lineage and knowledge of authentic Imperial Feng Shui principles.

In the Classical 8 Mansions, a classical Feng Shui master adopts the following steps to locate the wealth sector:

  • Determine the facing and sitting direction of the house
  • Using the facing direction, find out which of the eight mansions the house belongs to
  • Superimpose that mansions diagram onto the floor plan
  • Locate for the wealth sector

The table summarises the position of the wealth sectors under the Classical 8 Mansions method.

blog_141220_wealthsector_2

From the table above, it can be concluded that this Classical Feng Shui method is ambiguous as it assumes that there would only be 8 possible wealth sector locations.

3. Purple White Method

The third method is the Purple White Method 紫白玄空八宅, which is also oversimplified as it assumes that there are only eight types of houses available.

It ignores the year in which the house was constructed and is unable to offer any prediction or forecast of events that occupants may experience, which is an important skill that differentiates an Imperial Feng Shui master from a Classical Feng Shui master.

It is also very similar to the Classical 8 Mansions which ignores the examination of external landforms, the year of construction of the house, the move-in date and the individual destiny charts of the occupants.

The table summarises the position of the wealth sectors under the Purple White Method.

blog_141220_classicalmistakes_3

This method often results in incorrect deduction of facing directions as it does not require the use of a precise Feng Shui compass (Luopan).

Imperial Feng Shui - Heritage Spanning Over Three Centuries

Many Classical Feng Shui masters have popularised their methods as an easy to implement DIY methods, even to the extent of encouraging their followers to learn from their video Feng Shui courses and to take on Feng Shui as a side-gig. This has resulted in a pool of Classical Feng Shui masters who preach the improper practice of Imperial Feng Shui.

Imperial Harvest is led by Singapore’s Leading Imperial Feng Shui master, Master David Goh, who is back with three generations of Imperial Feng Shui expertise.

Practising only authentic Imperial Feng Shui, Imperial Harvest never compromises and aspires to help our clients achieve the strongest results and biggest breakthroughs.

An Imperial Feng Shui audit is extremely lengthy, comprehensive and thorough in its analysis, evaluating a house based on the following principles:

  1. Imperial Landform Principles
  2. San Yuan Xuan Kong Flying Star
  3. San Yuan Xuan Kong Liu Fa
  4. San Yuan Xuan Kong Da Gua
  5. San He Feng Shui

Imperial Harvest also uses 4 different date selection systems to achieve the most auspicious date and time that complies with Heaven, Earth and Man.

  1. San Yuan Qimen Dunjia Date Selection
  2. San Yuan Xuan Kong Da Gua Date Selection
  3. Vedic Astrology Date Selection
  4. Bazi Date Selection

Over the years, Imperial Harvest has been invited by many MNCS and luxury giants such as IWC Schaffhausen and Damiani to conduct Feng Shui audits for their flagship boutiques.

During these sessions, Master David Goh conducted bespoke measurements and took time to explain the internal landform of the flagship boutique and offices.

By plotting the Flying Star chart, he is able to accurately forecast the monthly sales performance for each sales counter and arrange their seating arrangement for optimal Qi flow.

At the end, a discussion will be held between the management team and Master David Goh to discuss the action plans and remedies required to refine the Feng Shui of the boutiques and offices.

Master David Goh’s commitment and relentless pursuit to uphold the authentic practice of Imperial Feng Shui is the reason why Imperial Harvest is entrusted with the responsibility and mission to help companies and thousands of ambitious individuals to achieve their ambitions and goals.

How To Combat Missing Sectors with Imperial Feng Shui

Posted by Imperial Harvest on 29 May 2020

Estimated Reading Time: 3 mins

Based on the principles of Imperial Feng Shui, the ideal shape of a piece of land is square or rectangle. The term “Four Point of Gold” (四点金) was coined to describe the ideal piece of land with regular shape.

This is evidently so in ancient China, where palaces and homes are built to adhere to a square layout. The Chinese also believed that the ‘wholeness’ of a house promotes the flow of Qi within, enhancing the wealth and luck of its occupants.

However, in modern times and especially in Singapore, space constraints have led to the creation of many different homes that are laid out differently.

This modernised layout often results in missing sectors; which refers to houses with missing corners.

It is deemed as ‘incomplete’ and has inauspicious Feng Shui, which could be detrimental to the occupants in these homes.

In this article, Master David will explain the implications of missing sectors and how you can combat the detrimental effects with Imperial Feng Shui solutions.

The implications and effects of having missing sectors in your house can be understood from the Imperial Feng Shui principle called Early Heaven Ba Gua and Late Heaven Ba Gua.

missing_sector_bagua_chart

Early Heaven Ba Gua represents the time factor of Feng Shui. Later Heaven represents the direction factor of Feng Shui.

Missing Sector - Their Implications

Early Heaven Ba Gua governs the health factor of the house Feng Shui. Later Heaven Ba Gua governs the wealth factor of the house Feng Shui.

The table below summarises the implication of the missing sector from early heaven and later heaven perspective. The implications will affect individuals based on certain aspects such as age, sex, number of children, professions, work industries as well as their Gua number - which can be determined by a professional Feng Shui consultant.

Based on the Early Ba Gua principle, this house is deemed to be missing the North West sector, as such specified occupants may be prone to suffering the following issues related to the missing sector -

Based on the Early Heaven Ba Gua analysis

  • Health issues - Brain, Lungs
  • Affects Li Gua 离卦 (Unmarried females above age of 16) or Individuals with Gua Number 6

Based on the Later Heaven Ba Gua analysis

  • Industries affected: Banking, Hardware
  • Professions affected: Management Consultant, Policy Maker, Legal
  • Affects Gen Gua 艮卦 (Males below the age of 16) or Individuals with Gua Number 6

Combating Houses with Missing Sectors

The missing sectors could seem especially daunting with the health and career issues they bring to specific occupants of the family.

Solving the problem of missing sectors is as simple as ensuring that there is a balance of energy flow within the compound. This can be done with the application of Imperial Feng Shui.

The combination of the Imperial White Ink Stone and Qian Long Jadeite Mountain is especially effective in this case. Placing these two powerful Imperial Feng Shui treasures in the wealth sector in your home can suppress the missing sectors and eliminate negative effects they bring.

Imperial White Ink Stone

missing_sector_whiteinkstone

Imperial White Inkstone is traditionally applied by Imperial Feng Shui masters to suppress Sha Qi, counteract Missing Sectors in royal palaces and homes and to empower Chinese Emperors with noblemen and authority.

These fine treasures were a fine representation of Emperor Qian Long’s cultivated disposition and unwavering passion for Imperial Feng Shui.

As one of the fundamentals of Imperial Feng Shui, the Imperial White Ink Stone has the powerful ability of "一白遮三丑, 一旺挡三煞", meaning that it possesses the ability to promote the auspicious energy of one sector while countering three inauspicious sectors.

Qian Long Jadeite Mountain

missing_sector_Jadeite_mountain

Emperor Qian Long demonstrated a keen interest in the art of Imperial Feng Shui through intense engagements in all manifestations of this interest.

From the 1760s to the 1790s, Qian Long decreed that the imperial artisans collaborated with the local craftsmen in the south to produce a group of majestic jade mountains based on ancient or contemporary paintings, to overcome the challenges of building the Imperial palace near an auspicious landform.

The Qian Long Jadeite Mountain activates the auspicious Mountain Star within your homes which counteracts Missing Sectors and helps to amplify benefactor support, health and relationship harmony.

Imperial Harvest Exquisite Jadeite Collection

Posted by Imperial Harvest on 22 May 2020

Estimated Reading Time: 4 mins

For centuries, jade has been a symbol of status, spirituality and health. Known as "玉"(Yu), which means 'heavenly' or 'imperial', it is considered to be the imperial gem in Chinese culture.

Since its introduction as a tribute to the Qing Imperial court in the 18th century, jadeite of various forms was exclusively worn by the ruling class, being strictly reserved for the Chinese Emperors and the royal family of the Qing Dynasty’s court.

Exquisite Jadeites possess the most illustrious and luminous finish. They are the most prized within the Qing Court. As an important advocate of Imperial Feng Shui and jade connoisseur, Emperor Qian Long amassed a collection of rare exquisite jadeites during his reign.

Definition of Exquisite Jadeites

Well-known for their vibrant colours and healing-properties, jadeites are naturally occurring gemstones. They are used to create jewellery as well as for the application of Imperial Feng Shui.

It’s noteworthy that not every jadeite boulder contains the precious gemstone. The value of a jadeite boulder can’t be evaluated by the naked eye, and one can only make an educated guess.

Once the presence of jadeite is verified, a small incision is made into the stone. From here on, experts have to estimate the value and quality of the jadeite within the boulder, making high-quality jadeite extremely rare and hard to come by. The highest quality jadeites are being graded as grade A jadeites.

The jadeite that Imperial Harvest uses in our collections are all grade A jadeites; completely natural with no artificial treatments being used to enhance its already impressive appearance.

Exquisite jadeites possess an almost glass-like translucency while withholding their natural vibrancy, making them extremely rare and highly coveted among collectors.

Creation of the Exquisite Jadeite Collection

Every Imperial Harvest exquisite jadeite is one-of-a-kind and personally designed by Master David. They are cut and polished by our own in-house expert artisans in our workshops. Armed with decades of expertise and immaculate attention to detail, the entire process is handcrafted by our artisans using traditional methods acquired from generations before.

History and Heritage of Emperor Qian Long Jadeite Mountain

Posted by Imperial Harvest on 15 May 2020

Estimated Reading Time: 3 mins

Emperor Qian Long is regarded as one of the world’s most powerful and influential figures in the 18th century. Besides his talents in military campaigns and politics, he is also known as one of the most cultured non-Chinese rulers in Chinese history, with great intellectual and artistic accomplishments as well as a passion for Imperial Feng Shui.

He was often depicted in portraits engaging in various intellectual activities, in an elegant setting surrounded with Jadeite Mountain, Imperial White Inkstone and Imperial Harvest Grade Crystal for the scholar’s desk.

Emperor Qian Long demonstrated a keen interest in the art of Imperial Feng Shui through intense engagements in all manifestations of this interest.

From exploring the sources of jadeites via military conquests to supervising production, he also encouraged Imperial Feng Shui innovation and initiated new trends.

Emperor Qian Long’s profound love for Jade

His profound love of jade and respect for the art of Imperial Feng Shui is revealed in the way his sons were named. The princes’ names had a Chinese character associated with this beautiful precious gemstone.

The first Prince Royal Yonglian 永璉; the second, Yongcong 永琮, and his successor, Jiaqing 嘉慶 emperor (r. 1796-1820), Yongyan 永琰.

The second character in all their personal names refers to a jade-like precious stone, while the first ‘yong 永’ represents a wish for longevity, just like jade.

Emperor Qian Long’s Remarkable Territorial Conquest

As a strategic and capable militarist, Emperor Qian Long was proud of the ten remarkable triumphs on the frontiers which won him the nickname ‘Old Man of the Ten Perfect Victories (shiquan laoren 十全老人)’. Three of them are connected with Eastern Turkestan (now modern-day Xinjiang region)—two pacifications of the Dzungars (1755-1757) and the quelling of the Muslim tribes in 1759.

The conquest signified the epitome of the Emperor Qian Long’s military achievement of expanding the borders. To a jade connoisseur, ruling over the Xinjiang territory means having unparalleled access to the source of raw jade.

Before gaining firm control over the supply of raw jade, Emperor Qian Long had limited raw jadeite available to commission the production of Qian Long Jadeite Mountain.

Hence Qian Long Jadeite Mountains were smaller in size and dimensions.

The firm control over the supply of raw jade led to an unprecedented breakthrough in Imperial Feng Shui.

Emperor Qian Long’s Imperial Decree

After acquiring the firm control of raw jade supply, Emperor Qian Long worked with his team of Imperial Feng Shui masters to create a new genre of jadeite ornament known as the ‘Jade Mountain’ (玉山子), when large jadeite boulders became available from the Xinjiang region after 1759.

From the 1760s to the 1790s, Qian Long decreed that the imperial artisans collaborated with the local craftsmen in the south to produce a group of majestic jade mountains based on ancient or contemporary paintings.

The best known of these are Travelling in Autumn Mountains (秋山行旅圖); The Great Yu Taming the River (大禹治水圖) and Nine Elders of Huichang (會昌九老圖).

Emperor Qian Long’s unwavering passion for Imperial Feng Shui

Each jade mountain project depicts a momentous painting, either an ancient painting from the imperial collection or the emperor’s favourite work by a contemporary painter.

Due to the irregular shape of the jade boulder, producing such intricate and immaculate designs and carvings is a tall order even for the most experienced imperial artisans.

Before the workshops can even produce a jade mountain, the Imperial court painters had to create paper drafts of various perspectives and interpretations of the design. The models and prototypes were made of wood, stone and wax which will be presented to Emperor Qian Long for approval before they are handed to the imperial artisans.

Each jade mountain showcases Emperor Qian Long as the pioneer to these exceptional masterpieces. They bear lengthy imperial inscriptions and seals which resemble a picture colophon signature which can be found in paintings displayed around the imperial palace.

Emperor Qian Long’s stringent demand and standards

Unlike other stones, jade production requires a laborious grinding process due to its exceptional hardness and toughness.

Emperor Qian Long’s stringent demands for jade carvings to portray elegance and life-like details presented a technical challenge; which is to create the same effects on hard stone as brushwork on paper.

Imperial Harvest continues the heritage and tradition of Emperor Qian Long’s Jadeite Mountain

The Qian Long Jadeite Mountain was created by Emperor Qian Long’s team of Imperial Feng Shui masters to overcome the challenges of building the Imperial palace near an auspicious landform.

Over the years, we have deployed and installed Imperial Harvest Qian Long Jadeite Mountains at many blessed clients’ homes and offices to empower them with auspicious benefactors, wealth and success.
