Master David’s inspiring visit to the Temple of Heaven in Beijing galvanised him to incorporate intricate architectural and oriental design together with the principles of Imperial Feng Shui.

Why the Temple of Heaven

Situated in the southern part of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven is an architectural feat which symbolises the relationship between heaven and earth. For centuries, the Temple of Heaven has been one of the most mystical places in China as it served as the venue where the Ming and Qing emperors offered sacrifices to heaven and prayed for abundance of harvest.

The centrepiece of every Bliss of Harvest pendant is the heart of the jadeite, which is carefully carved out from an entire piece of jadeite boulder by expert jadeite craftsman. Worn on the chest where the two hearts are at its nearest proximity, the jadeite heart resonates naturally with the adjacent heart and the Qi will be ever more compelling and have a multiplying effect.
